Scenographer: Twelfth Night
Emit Theatre seeks a scenographer to design scenery, costumes, and lighting for an immersive production of Twelfth Night.
Applicants must have professional experience designing either costumes or scenery with skills in all three design areas. Rehearsals begin February 4, tech rehearsal is on March 13, and performances run March 13-22.
Emit's immersive performances are produced in nontraditional spaces and are primarily for middle school and high school students. Scenographer will work closely with the production's director to develop an environmental aesthetic and design spaces that are appropriate for student audiences and high levels of interaction. This will be a highly collaborative process, with the production's director and stage manager supporting all shopping and construction. Compensation is a $400 stipend.
Interested candidates should submit a resume highlighting any experience with immersive theatre, two professional references, and a digital portfolio or link to your website. Send submissions to Hannah Johnson-Walsh at email@example.com.
